HX5 is currently seeking a Test Manager to support the HNI Division at Hanscom Air Force Base in Bedford, MA.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide Validation and Verification support services for effective management, in compliance with Air Force SEAM processes including DoDI 5000.89/DAFI 99-103, Capabilities Based Test and Evaluation, and MAJCOM, Center, and Directorate guidance. Validation and Verification includes all manner of testing including test and evaluation, demonstration, and certification activities.
  • Support requirements include, but are not limited to:
    • Prepare test plans and procedures
    • Prepare Test and Evaluation Management Plan
    • Prepare and review test analyses
    • Prepare T&E segments of acquisition documentation
    • Monitor test events
    • Support certification test activities (e.g., Joint Interoperability Test Center)
    • Support training required to execute test activities
    • Support the execution of test cases, evaluations, and demonstrations
    • Review and analyze engineering performance analysis report.
    • Review and analyze measures of effectiveness and measures of suitability
    • Review and analyze engineering performance predictions
    • Review and analyze trade-off studies
    • Support Functional Configuration Audits/Physical Configuration Audits
    • Support the collection of test data during developmental and operational test events

Recommended Experience and Skills:

  • IT CM experience within the DoD environment
  • Experience performing hardware and software configuration audits
  • Experience performing the technical/administrative activities necessary to manage CM tools for inventory control, version control, data duplication, and media labeling.
  • Experience producing release notes and CM reports
  • An in-depth understanding of the configuration change control process, the role of the Change Control Board, and change control documentation
  • Experience performing baseline administrative activities for multiple environments
  • Experience developing briefings for management
  • Understanding of all phases of the software development life cycle
  • Experience in MS Office Suite software

Education and Experience:

Must have the following education and experience:

  • Master's or Doctorate Degree in a related field and 10 years of relevant experience, five years of which must be in the DoD.
  • OR, Bachelor's Degree in a related field and 12 years of relevant experience, five of which must be in the DoD.
  • OR, 15 years of relevant experience with proper certification as described in the PWS labor category performance requirements, eight of which must be in the DoD.

Other Position Requirements:

  • Proof of U.S. Citizenship or US Permanent Residency is a requirement for this position.
  • Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation.
  • Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance by date of hire.
  • Must be able to travel, including air travel.
