Patches, repairs, scrapes, applies solvents, cleans, etc. various interior and exterior surfaces, as required, to prepare surfaces for finishes. Paints, stains, applies wall coverings to interior and exterior surfaces. Estimates the cost to prepare and paint surfaces. May Inspect work of contracted labor and/or outside contractors as a project administrator. Navigate and monitor Computerized Maintenance Management Software system (preferably AssetWORKS) for trade related work orders, various data, budget targets, etc. Operates and maintains equipment related to the trade. THE SELECTION PROCESS: will be job related and will consist of one or more of the following: education and experience evaluation; written, oral or performance tests; or other assessment methods. The Office of Human Resources reserves the right to call only the most qualified candidates to oral and performance examinations. Oral examinations may include written exercises.
