Inside the Role

Facilities Engineering Supervisor II, designs, and maintains facility infrastructure and equipment to meet the needs of the organization. Utilizes CAD and engineering principles to design and communicate specifications for facility modifications, or new equipment. Facilities Engineering Supervisor needs to maintain knowledge of building codes, and safety regulation to ensure compliance throughout all design activities.

Position offers a starting salary range of$104,000 - $133,000 USD

Pay offered dependent on knowledge, skills, andexperience

What You Drive at DTNA:

  • Primarily supervises the work of entry and intermediate level professional individual contributors or large numbers of shop floor employees in operations, manufacturing, and/or logistics

  • Interprets and administers policies, processes, and procedures

  • Coordinates the resources of team and set daily priorities to meet operational objectives

  • Designs, plans, conducts construction, and maintenance of equipment, machinery, buildings, and other facilities

  • Plans, budgets, and schedules facility modifications, including estimates on equipment, labor, materials, and other related costs

  • Oversees the coordination of building space allocation and layout, communication services and facilities expansion

  • May have responsibility for establishing and overseeing health and safety standards

  • Responsible for staffing decisions such as hiring, firing, rewarding, training, and developing employees

  • Decision maker for daily activities that are guided by policy, procedures, and business plans with oversight from manager

Knowledge You Should Bring:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university/college and 5-7 years of relevant experience or 8 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree

  • Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to use tact and diplomacy to exchange information, handle sensitive issues, and translate, simplify, and clarify information for employees

  • Demonstrates understanding and application of procedures and concepts related to job field as well as basic knowledge of other related work areas

  • Knowledge of building systems, maintenance protocols, and infrastructure planning.

  • Familiarity with OSHA standards and other regulatory requirements.

  • Microsoft Office knowledge required.

  • Knowledge of CAD systems required

  • Project Management experience

Exceptional Candidates Might Have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering or related field preferred
