Job Overview:

The Inventory Specialist is responsible for all biomedical equipment maintenance and coordination of bed/device. Maintains inventory supply for quantity, accuracy, replenishment, and expiration oversight.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Six months to one year experience in cleaning, inventory control and buying
• Familiarity with computers,

Scheduling Requirements:

• Full Time Day
• Monday - Friday
• 7:30am - 4pm

Essential Functions:

• Works with Lead Aides to keep storeroom organized.
• Has a good understanding of all EVS products
• Reviews back orders and expedites when necessary,
• Maintains records and reports statistics and files as required
• Maintains updated reference and catalog files and distributes product information as needed
• Prepares documents to process requests for department equipment repairs, adjustments for damages, and incorrect shipments
• Process special requisitions for ordering of department supplies, edit and review requirements and contact department leaders as necessary to get accurate details
• Acts as a resource for department regarding products and purchasing
• Ensure timely and cost effective shipment methods consistent with established delivery requirements and follow up when necessary
• Contacts vendors to secure bids and quotes when necessary, and place orders
• Maintains file on all quotes
• Research and select products according to quality, price, and serviceability standards
• Add PO for invoices to be paid and communicate needs for approval to department leaders
• Prepare all invoice for payment to be approved
• Adheres to all company policy at all times
• Assist with all department clerical duties
