Job Description

Position Summary:

The Tool Crib Attendant 1 receives stores, and issues tools, machine tool fixtures, dies, and measuring devices. They maintain records of tools issued to employees, take periodic inventory and requisitions stock as needed. They are responsible for reporting damaged, worn out, or missing equipment using computers to enter transactions, validate information and maintain databases. Cleans, oils, and performs minor repairs on equipment. They will dispose of surplus or obsolete equipment in accordance with established procedure(s). They will ensure that measuring devices are periodically calibrated.

Reporting Structure:

The Tool Crib Attendant will report to the 2nd Shift Supervisor.

Schedule:

  • Training schedule: Monday-Thursday, 5am-3:30pm, the individual will work for around 3 months or until they are able to work independently.
  • Regular schedule: Monday-Thursday, 3:20pm - 1:50am

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Review shop lists, MRP, and related work orders for supplies, material, and equipment requests
  • Coordinate with supervision and team to prioritize work to shop requirements
  • Ensure proper packaging and storage of inventory
  • Order, stock, and count shop supplies, materials, and tools
  • Store crib materials in an orderly fashion, maintaining min/max levels when required
  • Support inventory audits and record results
  • Record material debits/credits and support troubleshooting discrepancies
  • Relabel stock and record changes in Inventory System
  • Bring to supervision's attention anticipated downstream requests due to schedule, loss, and change requests
  • Respond to expedited requests and coordinate materials for delivery to users as required
  • Control/restock bin stock quantities
  • Familiarize oneself with Accra processes and procedures including applicable MRP, Inventory System, and Business Quality Management System (BQMS) procedures as applicable
  • Monitor and empty chip bins
  • May occasionally perform special projects, perform other duties as assigned

Required Skills:

  • Familiar with computerized MRP/Inventory systems
  • Understand and adhere to proper material storage requirements
  • Understand basic Accra Manufacturing process and how shop tool and supply inventory control interacts with upstream and downstream functions
  • Blueprint reading, math skills, knowledge of measurement devices and their calibration requirements
  • Good computer skills and ability to query, monitor, and input MRP system data
  • Able to work with multiple priorities
  • Able to be certified with/and operate a fork lift and picker
  • Maintain inventory storage in a clean, orderly manner
  • Ability to professionally communicate and work with others
  • Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple priorities
  • Willingness to learn and receive training, and train others if required

Required Experience and Education

  • 1+ year of related experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent

For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $20.00 to $25.00 US Dollar (USD) Hourly based on a variety of factors. For informational purposes only, this role is eligible to participate in the Company's Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 1X the Company's bonus multiple, based on the Company's performance in the applicable quarter . Employees will receive 120 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays. Employees (and their families) are eligible to participate in the company's medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are eligible to enroll in the Company's 401(k) plan.

This position requires use of information or access to production processes subject to national security controls under U.S. export control laws and regulations (including, but not limited to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR)). To be qualified to work in this facility, a successful applicant must be a U.S. Person, as defined in those regulations, and able to supply evidence of that qualification prior to starting work or be authorized to receive controlled information under a specific license or permission from the relevant government agency.
