In this exciting role, you will investigate molecular mechanisms-focusing on host-pathogen interactions, inflammation, and immunity-using cell co-cultures and animal models. This role will integrate systems biology, multi-omics, and discovery-based approaches with mechanistic information to address key questions about innate immunity in animal models. You will organize and present research findings to project team members and the broader scientific community.

This position has an anticipated start date of October 13, 2025.

What You Will Do:

  • Perform all phases of animal-based experimental investigations, including planning, development, execution, data recording, and reporting on major projects.

  • Experience with molecular biology techniques for health studies, small animal work, clinical and pathogen microbiology, and immunology (innate and adaptive systems).
  • Demonstrated analytical skills, including the ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in experimental processes and perform analysis.
  • Strong organizational and record-keeping skills, including the ability to organize and present analysis reports.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills including the ability to work with an interdisciplinary research team.
