Job Details
The Guest Relations Specialist is responsible for coordinating the care of patients in the Pediatric Complex Care Collaborative program at The Johns Hopkins Hospital. Emphasis will be placed on the scheduling, registration and coordination of patient appointments including gathering all necessary patient information, updating EPIC, patient education and answering patient requests for information. The Guest Relations Specialist will be responsible for managing physician scheduling templates and overseeing the high-volume, complex scheduling needs of patients and providers within the department. This role requires close collaboration with physicians, clinical teams, and administrative staff to ensure clinic schedules are accurate, efficient, and optimized for patient access and provider workflow. This position will serve as the primary resource for resolving scheduling conflicts, troubleshooting template issues, and maintaining compliance with departmental and institutional guidelines. This position will manage relationships with patients and/or their designee and other various referral sources. This position may also be responsible for obtaining vital signs, rooming patients and assisting during patient examinations, as needed and thereby requires active CMA certification. Schedule
Requirements
Salary Range: Minimum $22.00/hour - Maximum $36.32/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
