Job Description




As a Security Professional Chemical Patrol Unarmed in Texas City, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will play a vital role in helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment through regular patrols of the premises. Your presence and proactive approach will contribute to a positive atmosphere for both employees and visitors. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for operating a vehicle while conducting your patrols throughout the property. Building strong professional relationships and providing outstanding customer service are essential aspects of this position. What You'll Do:

    Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the chemical or petrochemical location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the needs of the site.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and maintain a visible presence.
  • Monitor for unusual or suspicious activity during patrols and report findings according to site protocols.
  • Assist with controlling access to restricted areas and verify credentials as required by site policies.
  • Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and/or contractors, addressing questions and providing assistance as needed.
  • Document observations, incidents, and/or activities in required reports for Allied Universal and client management.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Must have prior supervisory experience.
  • Must possess a valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by the Transportation Security Administration.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license in the state where the job is located and meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
