As a Security Officer - Manufacturing Center Patrol - Full Time in Cumming, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage and more .

As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will play an important role in maintaining a secure environment at a leading food and beverage location. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and conducting regular patrols of assigned areas. By remaining visible and approachable, you help to deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service to employees and visitors. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control access points to the location to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain authorized personnel flow.
• Verify credentials of employees, visitors, and contractors entering the premises, following site-specific procedures.
• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by responding to inquiries and assisting with directions or information as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal and site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify any potential security-related concerns.
• Document observations, incidents, and activities in detailed reports as required by Allied Universal and site policies.
• Support emergency response activities as directed, including assisting with evacuations or other site-specific emergency protocols.
• Collaborate with site personnel and law enforcement as needed to address security-related matters in the food and beverage environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
