As a Security Guard - Commercial Site - Weekdays in MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a premier commercial real estate location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence throughout the property. Your role will involve monitoring assigned areas, responding promptly to situations, and assisting tenants, visitors, and staff with professionalism and courtesy. You will also be responsible for clear communication and delivering exceptional customer service, contributing to a welcoming environment. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Observe and report any suspicious activities, hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
• Work closely with property management and/or tenants to address security-related inquiries or concerns in a professional manner.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports regarding incidents, observations, and daily activities as required by Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
• Remain alert and attentive to surroundings, adapting to varying working environments and conditions as required by the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• A valid guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
