As a Security Professional - Armed Government Site - Multiple Shifts in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more .

As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents through visible patrols and attentive presence. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the assigned area, staying alert to your surroundings, and responding to security-related situations as they arise. In this armed role, you will be expected to maintain a high level of professionalism and readiness, while providing exceptional customer service and communication to everyone you encounter. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when necessary.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the government location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or breaches.
• Communicate clearly with team members and site personnel regarding security-related observations and incidents.
• Document and report security-related incidents, concerns, and/or maintenance issues according to established protocols.
• Remain alert and prepared to respond to emergencies or unusual situations as they arise within the government environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must possess a valid armed guard card or license.
• Must provide proof of high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Handcuff, pepper spray, and/or baton experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
