Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Perform access control duties by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points at the location, following site-specific policies and procedures.
• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by addressing inquiries and assisting with directions or information as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor security-related systems and/or equipment, such as surveillance cameras and alarm panels, to observe activity and report irregularities.
• Document incidents and daily activities in detailed reports for Allied Universal and client review.
• Support emergency response activities, including assisting with evacuations and coordinating with emergency services when appropriate.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a secure environment for employees and visitors at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A valid Guard Card or license is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
