As a Security Officer with Allied Universal assigned to a utilities location, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment by conducting regular patrols and remaining highly visible throughout your assigned areas. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide exceptional customer service and clear communication to everyone at the location. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for operating a vehicle as part of your patrol duties. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the utility location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential issues.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or unusual occurrences to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as required.
• Complete required reports and documentation accurately and promptly following Allied Universal guidelines.
• Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and staff, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Support emergency response efforts by following established procedures and coordinating with local authorities as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• A valid driver's license is required and applicants must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements for driving positions only.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
