As a Security Guard Utilities Patrol Driver in Nederland, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities and more .

As a Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in supporting a secure environment within a utilities location. Your primary responsibilities will focus on access control, monitoring entry and exit points, and conducting routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents. You will remain highly visible, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication to all visitors and staff. This position is a driving post, so you will be required to operate company or client vehicles as part of your duties. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Control access to the location by verifying credentials of employees, visitors, and contractors, following established procedures to help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Monitor and operate access control systems and security-related equipment to maintain awareness of activities at entry and exit points.
• Provide customer service by assisting individuals entering or exiting the location, offering information and guidance as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to observe for unusual activity or potential security-related concerns.
• Document and report all incidents, observations, and access control activities according to site requirements and Allied Universal policies.
• Work collaboratively with site personnel and/or emergency responders during incidents and emergencies, supporting security-related response activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid TSA issued Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC).
• Possess a valid driver's license in the job state and meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements for driving positions only.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
