Pay Rate: $28.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate protocols for an armed patrol post.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and observe for any suspicious behavior or security-related concerns.
• Maintain high visibility while on patrol to help to deter potential issues and provide reassurance to staff and visitors.
• Monitor access points and enforce site-specific entry policies, checking credentials as required.
• Document observations and incidents accurately and promptly in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
• Work collaboratively with site personnel and local law enforcement as needed during incidents or emergencies.
• Adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and Allied Universal guidelines while carrying a firearm and performing armed patrol duties.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must possess a valid armed guard card or license as required by state and/or local laws and regulations.
• Must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
