As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment within a commercial real estate location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff. You will be expected to respond promptly to incidents, communicate clearly with all parties, and document your activities using computer or tablet systems as needed. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within commercial real estate locations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols and client site expectations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the business premises and around the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and observe any unusual conditions, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or suspicious activity according to site and Allied Universal procedures.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, exits, and authorized areas as required by site-specific guidelines.
• Provide support during emergencies, such as fire alarms or medical incidents, by following established procedures and communicating with appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
