Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $28.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the assigned location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible presence.
• Monitor for suspicious activity or potential threats, reporting any findings to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain awareness of surroundings and support the enforcement of site-specific policies and regulations.
• Assist visitors and employees by providing information and directions as needed.
• Prepare and submit detailed reports regarding incidents, observations, and activities during each shift.
• Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and local law enforcement when necessary to address incidents or emergencies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must possess a valid Armed Guard Card or license as required by state and/or local law.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
