As a Security Officer - Healthcare Front Desk in Windsor Mill, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more.

As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, patients, and staff. Your primary responsibility will be to maintain a welcoming and secure environment at the front desk, greeting guests, verifying credentials, and assisting with access control. You will help to deter security-related incidents through your visible presence and strong communication skills. This role requires you to provide outstanding customer service while remaining attentive to any potential security-related concerns. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Greet visitors, patients, and staff in a professional manner while monitoring access to the front desk area of the healthcare location.
• Assist with enforcing site-specific policies and procedures to help maintain a secure environment for all individuals present.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verifying identification and credentials as required.
• Communicate clearly with Allied Universal management, site personnel, and/or local authorities when necessary.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, unusual activity, or maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and/or directing individuals to appropriate areas within the location.
• Support emergency response activities as needed, following the healthcare location's specific guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
