Staffmark is hiring a Benefits Leave Administrator to support one of our top clients in their Human Resources department. In this role, you'll be responsible for managing employee leave of absence and accommodation programs, providing high-touch support to employees, managers, HR teams, and vendors.
You'll play a critical part in ensuring legal compliance while delivering a smooth and compassionate experience for those navigating leave and disability processes.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Pay Rate: $28 - $40/hour

Responsibilities



  • Administer the company's Leave of Absence (LOA) programs in coordination with third-party vendors.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including FMLA, ADA, Workers' Compensation, COBRA, HIPAA, ACA, ERISA, and other related policies.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for all leave-related inquiries via phone, email, and written communication.
  • Maintain accurate employee benefit records and support the processing of short- and long-term disability payments.
  • Manage LOA employee timecards and support ADA accommodation requests.
  • Educate and guide supervisors and managers on leave processes, employee rights, and accommodation procedures.
  • Liaise with disability insurance providers, third-party administrators, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely claim processing and resolution.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Payroll, Risk, ADP, and HRIS teams to streamline and improve leave workflows.
  • Handle Jira tickets, complete required documentation, and continuously look for ways to enhance process efficiency.
  • Provide backup support to other benefits functions as needed.



Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in leave and benefits administration.
  • Proven ability to manage all aspects of leave programs, employee inquiries, audits, and open enrollment processes.
  • Experience with M&A integration is a strong plus.
  • In-depth knowledge of federal and state leave laws and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
  • High level of discretion and ability to handle sensitive information.
