Order Filler

Staffmark is hiring an Order Filler in Afton, TN. If you're dependable, detail-oriented, and ready to work in a fast-paced environment, this could be the job for you!

$13.50/hr

Responsibilities:

• Follow all plant safety rules and OSHA regulations
• Collect customer orders and related shipping documents
• Use handheld scanners and computers to create pick lists
• Locate, pick, and prepare items based on order forms
• Assemble shipping containers and load items onto filling carts
• Label, verify, and seal orders before sending to shipping conveyors
• Maintain productivity goals to meet customer demand
• Report shortages or inventory discrepancies to the department clerk
• Keep your workspace clean and organized
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Previous order filling experience a plus, but not required
• Basic reading, writing, and math skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
• Able to walk, stand, and reach frequently
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs; anything over 51 lbs requires team lift
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
