Position Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will support physicians and clinical staff by performing administrative and clinical duties to ensure the highest quality of patient care and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities: * Greet and prepare patients for examination, including taking vital signs and medical histories. * Assist physicians during examinations and minor procedures. * Administer injections, perform EKGs, and collect lab specimens as needed. * Schedule appointments, manage patient records, and handle insurance verifications. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and medical equipment. * Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members. * Ensure compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory standards. Qualifications: * High School Diploma or equivalent required. * Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred. * 1+ years of experience in a clinical or outpatient setting preferred. * Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems. * Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
