Are you ready to lead the future of automotive manufacturing with our reputable client? We're seeking a highly skilled Advanced Manufacturing Engineer to spearhead the planning, development, and launch of new assembly lines for cutting-edge products. In this pivotal role, you'll transform designs into reality by creating robust, efficient, and cost-effective assembly processes that deliver on safety, quality, and performance.

Schedule: 7:00am - 3:30pm, Monday - Friday

Salary: $100,000 - $120,000/yr.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Lead the design, development, and launch of new assembly lines for electric or mechanical systems.
  • Define assembly processes, line layouts, workstation flows, and tooling requirements.
  • Partner with design engineering to optimize products for manufacturability.
  • Manage suppliers, equipment specifications, procurement, and validation.
  • Oversee installation, commissioning, and ramp-up of new lines to meet performance targets.
  • Prepare PFMEAs, control plans, work instructions, and validation documents.
  • Support prototype builds, pre-production trials, and production launch.
  • Ensure compliance with APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, safety, and ergonomic standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement, standardization, and process optimization.




Qualifications:



  • 5+ years in assembly process development/manufacturing engineering.
  • Proven track record in launching new assembly lines (automotive powertrain or similar).
  • Strong knowledge of assembly methods, ergonomics, error-proofing, and tooling.
  • Familiarity with APQP, PFMEA, PPAP, IATF, and ISO standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving, project management, and communication skills.
  • Hands-on, comfortable on the manufacturing floor with global teamwork experience.
  • Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma/Red X training a plus.
  • Willingness to travel for supplier meetings, equipment buy-offs, and on-site launch support.
