This role is responsible for making measurements, performing routine quantitative and qualitative biological and chemical analytical tests, researching technical literature, and evaluating old processes. What You Will Do:
- Responsible for all steps of routine experimentation, including sample prep, equipment orientation, instrument control, data processing, and analysis
- Approves, holds, and/or rejects products based on laboratory analysis versus specifications
- Ensures compliance with current regulatory requirements, following GMP guidelines for data reporting, preparation of validation protocols, raw data generation, and final reports
- Provides analytical and technical support for quality-related product investigations
- Optimizes and recommends lab improvements to support 5S initiatives
- Other duties as assigned
Position Details:
- Location: Ellwood City, PA
- Work Week/Shift: Monday - Friday, rotating through 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts (11PM - 7AM, 3PM - 11PM, 7AM - 3PM)
- Compensation: $27.00 / hour
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate degree inChemistry, an applied science, or related technical discipline
- 1 year of Laboratory Technician experience or closely related experience
- 1 year of experience working in manufacturing

Physical Demands:
- Must be able to pass a drug screenand physical exam
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong background in scientific skills and lab analysis
- Experience working with/supporting ISO 9001 regulations
- Must be familiar with laboratory safety procedures/regulations
- Strong computer proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Must have good verbal and written communication skills
Annual or Hourly Compensation Range
The pay range for this position is $40,400.00 - $60,600.00. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
