As a Security Officer - Government Facility - Full Time in Santa Rosa, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more.

As a valued team member at Allied Universal, you will serve in an unarmed security-related role within a government location. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting routine monitoring and rounds throughout the assigned area, helping to deter security-related incidents through your visible presence, and responding promptly to any situations that arise. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for operating a vehicle as part of your duties. You will also interact with employees and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication to support a welcoming environment. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, participating in emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, helping to deter unwanted activity within the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the government facility and its perimeter, observing for irregularities and reporting any concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verifying authorization of individuals as required by site protocols.
• Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and/or suspicious activity according to Allied Universal and site requirements.
• Collaborate with site personnel and/or law enforcement as needed to address and resolve security-related matters.
• Maintain a visible presence to help deter unauthorized activity and provide reassurance to employees and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required and must meet Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
