As a Security Officer - - Residential Patrol - Multiple Shifts in Carson, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more.

As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to create a secure and welcoming environment within a residential community. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the location, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that may arise. You will also have the opportunity to interact with residents and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and residents by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the residential community and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter unwanted activity and provide a visible Allied Universal presence.
• Document observations, incidents, and/or activities as required by site protocols.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with residents, visitors, and property management regarding security-related matters.
• Follow all post orders and instructions provided by Allied Universal and site management while maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver's license is required for positions that involve driving and must meet Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
