Creighton University, in Omaha, NE is seeking to hire a part-time Program Coordinator to work in the Center for Promoting Health and Health Equity (CPHHE). Oversees program coordination for community education, administration management, and liaisons with community partners/members. In addition, this position is responsible for Board meeting coordination and agenda, data entry, analysis and reporting, maintaining website and social media activities, creating brochures/ newsletters, organizing the Summer Research Institute, seminars, health disparities workshops, and grant writing activities. The position also acts as the primary coordinator in research, training, education, and intervention programs. This is a grant-funded position working 24 hours per week.

Job Details



  • Coordinates all activities in the Center for Promoting Health and Health Equality.
  • Act as primary coordinator or assist in coordinating research, education, and intervention programs.
  • Develop and maintain community relationships and communicate with community partners and members.
  • Assist in grant writing activities.
  • Maintain minutes and communications for all meetings and related activities.
  • Maintains and updates website and creates brochures and newsletters.
  • Performs data entry, runs reports, verifies the integrity of data and report issues.



Qualifications



  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
  • 2+ years related coordination of programs experience. Experience in health disparities arena preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of all Microsoft Office Products required.
  • Experience with database management, data imports and CRM software preferred.
  • Demonstrated customer service focus particularly with racial, ethnic, and other communities experiencing health disparities and inequities, and ability to resolve conflict and handle demanding clients.
  • Ability to think independently, analyze problems and reach solutions.
