The Role The Industry Business Analyst - Healthcare is a vertical-specific research and partner alignment role focused primarily on the Healthcare segment. This individual contributor, instrumental in developing focused on our industry solutions accelerators, services and GTM initiatives. This role will be involved in helping develop and validate solutions, services, and supports Partner Strategy and GTM planning by providing deep insights into healthcare market needs, regulatory drivers, and OEM alignment opportunities. Part of Presidio's vertical overlay structure conceived during GTM and Partner alignment initiatives, this role helps tailor service offerings for healthcare relevance while optimizing partner funding strategies. The analyst ensures Presidio's healthcare solutions address industry-specific challenges including HIPAA compliance, clinical workflow integration, and healthcare digital transformation. Major Responsibilities:
- Conduct specialized research on healthcare industry trends including regulatory changes, technology adoption patterns, and emerging care delivery models.
- Analyze healthcare-specific requirements for services including compliance, security, and clinical integration needs.
- Support Partner Strategy by identifying healthcare-focused partner programs, funding opportunities, and co-sell initiatives.
- Develop healthcare buyer personas and journey maps to inform GTM strategies and sales enablement.
- Create industry-specific value propositions and ROI models for healthcare organizations of various sizes and types.
- Monitor healthcare regulatory landscape including HIPAA, HITECH, 21st Century Cures Act, and state-specific requirements.
- Collaborate with Services Product Management to ensure offerings meet healthcare industry standards and certifications.
- Support healthcare RFP responses with industry-specific insights, compliance documentation, and reference architectures.
- Stay current on all healthcare technology vtrends, endors, industry associations, and standards bodies.
- Analyze competitive landscape specific to healthcare service providers and technology partners.
- Develop thought leadership content including white papers, webinars, and conference presentations on healthcare IT topics in partnership with GTM Industry Principals.
- Support field teams with healthcare account strategy and opportunity qualification.
- Track healthcare IT spending trends and budget cycles to inform sales planning.
- Coordinate with other industry analysts to share best practices and cross-vertical insights.
- Technology/Area of Specialization:
- Deep understanding of healthcare IT ecosystem including EHR/EMR systems, clinical applications, and healthcare analytics.
- Knowledge of healthcare compliance requirements and security frameworks (HIPAA, HITRUST, SOC2 for Healthcare).
- Familiarity with healthcare interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR, DICOM) and integration challenges.
- Understanding of healthcare business models including value-based care, population health, and revenue cycle management.
- Knowledge of healthcare-specific cloud adoption patterns and digital health innovations.
- Experience with healthcare technology vendors and their partner ecosystems.
Basic Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Healthcare industry expertise with understanding of provider, payer, and life sciences segments.
- Strong analytical skills to synthesize complex healthcare market data and regulations.
- Excellent communication abilities to translate healthcare requirements into technology solutions.
- Research proficiency to stay current with rapidly evolving healthcare landscape.

Required Skills:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
- 4-6 years of experience in healthcare technology, healthcare consulting, or healthcare IT with 3-5 years as a Business Analyst on complex technology initiatives
- Deep knowledge of healthcare industry including clinical workflows, regulatory environment, and technology landscape.
- Experience with healthcare IT transformation projects or services delivery.
- Understanding of healthcare compliance and security requirements.
- Experience with business or technology consulting organization, with expertise in customer conversations and executive presence
- Strong presentation skills for executive and clinical audiences.
- Ability to translate between clinical/business needs and technical solutions.
- Healthcare industry certifications (CHPS, CPHIMS) preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, SharePoint).
- Demonstrated ability to deliver results in a fast-paced, client-facing consultative environment.
