Salary: $47.05-57.54 Hourly
Join a dynamic Regional Transportation Team supporting domestic operations for a leading distribution company. This role manages transportation activities into and out of distribution centers, with responsibility for either regional operations or critical real estate footprint project work. You'll work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where adaptability and strong communication skills are essential. Work Schedule: Monday-Thursday in office, Friday remote Primary Responsibilities
- Inbox Management & Response: Monitor and respond to transportation-related inquiries from field teams and distribution centers within 24-hour sundown rule
- Regional Support: Serve as primary transportation resource for assigned distribution center(s), managing all inbound and outbound transportation activities
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Gather and compile raw data from multiple sources; conduct research on industry trends and benchmarks; normalize data into centralized formats
- Performance Analysis: Analyze transportation metrics, compare against industry/company benchmarks, identify trends, and prepare cost analyses
- Reporting & Documentation: Create spreadsheets, reports with charts and graphs, and ad hoc analyses; define data definitions and document data limitations
- Stakeholder Communication: Adapt communication style to various building leaders' preferences (Teams, email, phone, text); proactively engage with remote distribution center teams
- Strategic Recommendations: Provide actionable recommendations based on findings and analysis; contribute input on policies and procedures
- Project Support: Participate in real estate footprint changes and other strategic transportation initiatives
Required Qualifications Education:
- BS/BA in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related discipline
Technical Skills:
- Intermediate to advanced Excel proficiency (data manipulation, combining multiple data sources, creating digestible reports)
- Strong analytical capabilities with attention to detail
- Transportation or logistics background preferred (carrier-side or corporate experience both valued)
