CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS: This position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations, including handling of materials, packages, and chemical materials such as solvents and pigments, lab supplies, and USPS mail. This position is also responsible for daily tasks assignments, department scheduling, keeping accurate inventory, and maintaining appropriate shipping paperwork. Key Duties:
- Receive all incoming deliveries including operation of a forklift or other equipment
- Verifying the accuracy of quantity and quality of incoming deliveries and maintain receipt and manifest logs of deliveries from freight carriers, parcel services, and internal Sherwin-Williams deliveries
- Daily sorting of USPS mail and parcel deliveries to identify the most efficient delivery route through multiple buildings using pallet jacks, dollies, delivery carts, and flat-bed carts
- Packaging and shipping of domestic and international packages, envelopes, freight, and mail for the entire site
- Provide high quality customer service to all internal customers as well as coordinating timely deliveries and shipments based on their individual needs
- Achieve and maintain a safe working environment by performing daily inspections of equipment and attend site safety meetings
- Must be able to be trained and certified to pack and ship hazardous materials in accordance with DOT CFR 49 and IATA regulations
- Responsible for warehousing duties including placing items on racking and retrieving stored items from racking
- Collaborating with internal departments to locate missing packages, fix incorrect deliveries and replace damaged products
- Assist the facilities department with various projects as assigned
- Designates and leads daily assignments for the shipper/receiver/warehouse technicians
- Manage training documentation for the department
- Manage department schedules including shift planning and holiday coverage.
- Train and mentor staff on SOPs, safety protocols, and equipment use.
- Supports the workload of the shipping, receiving and warehouse area through clear communication and follow-up.

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE: Required:
- 2 years of similar or directly related experience to the shipping, receiving, and/or warehouse operation
- Must be able to be certified with DOT CFR 49 and IATA regulations
- Ability to obtain forklift license within 30 days of hire
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Physically fit with the ability to lift objects weighing between 50-100 pounds
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Team Player
