Overview:

Team Coordinator, Revenue Control

Supervises the Revenue Control Unit to ensure complete, compliant, and timely charge description master updates for the health system. Leads and supervises Revenue Control projects related to integration into new hospitals, new service lines, or changes in workflow that impact multiple departments.

Supervises development and ongoing training of staff members on charge capture policies and procedures and revenue reconciliation. Ensures quality and customer service.

Reviews and reconciles monthly units of service and statistics and responsible for general ledger journal entries related to statistics and units of service system wide. Provides reimbursement and charge analysis data to hospital finance departments. Oversees the Revenue Specialists as well as the Accounting Technicians.

Education
  • Bachelors Level Degree is Required (Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Accounting, Finance or related field)
Certification/Licensure
  • CCS or CPC certification
Experience
  • Must have thorough knowledge and understanding of charging principles and procedures as well as CPT/HCPCS.
  • EPIC experience required
  • Charge Master experience
  • Clinical experience is desired, though not required. CPC/CCS certification desired, but not required.
  • Any experience with FinThrive
  • Five ( 5) years of related experience Revenue Control and Supervisory experience; especially in CDM
  • Remote schedule available
