Advantage Technical is hiring a Lemon Law Technical Specialist (PMQ) to support legal teams in evaluating and resolving automotive claims under California Lemon Law. This unique role blends automotive technical expertise with legal support responsibilities, including participation in depositions. Full training provided-ideal for individuals looking to expand their career beyond the shop floor. Pay Rate: $34.10/hour Schedule: Monday - Friday, 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM Responsibilities: Support legal teams in reviewing and evaluating lemon law and vehicle repurchase claims Interpret and analyze Repair Orders (ROs) and Technical Service Bulletins (TSBs) to provide insight into claim validity Participate in legal depositions as a Person Most Qualified (PMQ)-training provided (not an expert witness role) Clearly communicate technical information in legal settings Collaborate with attorneys and technical teams to ensure accurate case representation Work a hybrid schedule following successful completion of training Qualifications: Prior experience as an Automotive Technician or Field Service Engineer Proficient in reading and interpreting ROs and TSBs Familiarity with California Lemon Law and the vehicle repurchase process Strong verbal communication skills and professionalism in formal settings Willingness to undergo deposition training and represent technical matters in legal proceedings Why You'll Love This Job: We offer a comprehensive benefits package to support your health, financial goals, and work-life balance.
