Summary of the Job:

FNBO is looking for a strategic leader to drive our Travel & Entertainment credit card vertical to new heights. In this pivotal role, you will:

- Spearhead profitable growth initiatives while achieving FNBO's Partnership Division ROE targets
- Lead and develop a high-performing team focused on sustainable business expansion
- Craft innovative payment solutions that seamlessly integrate with our partners' business models
- Establish the vertical's long-term strategic vision (3-5 years) while delivering strong annual financial results
- Own the division's P&L with full accountability for performance outcomes

About This Role:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop our Travel and Entertainment credit card business strategy, outlining differentiators in the market and driving sustainable competitive advantages for FNBO.

  • Develop and lead a strong team with bench strength and succession plans in place to ensure enduring continuity for the business.

  • P&L owner for assigned Vertical, responsible for forecasting, managing and delivering short-term and long-term business plans.

  • Align our strategy for optimal product, targeting, and credit risk performance to achieve necessary KPIs and deliver ROE and efficiency targets.

  • Execute strategic plan across internal cross functional teams (Credit Risk, Finance, and Enterprise Data Management) and external key stakeholders.

  • Ensure development, growth and retention of assigned brand portfolios, through management of assigned teams within their respective vertical.

  • Responsible for execution and governance of all marketing plans through assigned partner channels, including POS and all online channels.

  • Develop marketing strategies to optimize vertical growth, revenue and profit.

  • Collaborate with Partner Division Product Team to ensure products are well designed, tested, and integrated into partner's business creating best in class customer and partner experiences.

  • Develop and maintain a strong working knowledge and understanding of the issuing/credit card/loan industry (National & Global), card associations and FNBO products/services.

  • Develop and maintain a strong working knowledge of industry best practices within assigned verticals. Provide insight into how FNBO can help the partner's success in their own industry.

  • Lead cross-functional team to ensure all business and contractual obligations are appropriately fulfilled.

The Ideal Candidate for This Role:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum 10 years' experience of relationship/ partner management preferably in the Credit Card or Financial Industry

  • Ability to influence at all levels, internally and externally.

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Strong leadership and team management qualities

  • Strong problem-solving abilities

  • Strong interpersonal communication with ability to work with various levels of management

  • Self-motivated team player with vision and initiative

  • Ability to work independently without much supervision

  • Some travel requirements (50% travel is likely)

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft suite of products

  • Demonstrated effective planning, organization, detail oriented and time management skills, and the ability to multi-task while meeting deadlines
