Location Profile: Headquartered in Irvine, CA, Shur-Lok manufactures fastening systems with superior locking devices for critical requirements including engine module assembly, structural assembly, rotor blade attachment, and aircraft engine shaft and spindle applications. Operations at the Irvine location include CNC Machining, CNC Waterjet Cutting, Laser Marking, Heat Treating, NDT, and EDM. Position Summary: Selected candidates for a Paint Operator position will be expected to successfully apply all common water and solvent reducible corrosion resistant epoxy primers on a diversity of substrates and intermediate product configurations, (geometries) using conventional HVLP equipment in pressure, siphon and gravity fed variants. Candidates for these positions shall be fully familiar with proper equipment setup including production air and pot pressures, fluid/air mixtures and fan adjustments as well as proper gun angles distance and speed as they relate to specific part geometries and unique coating characteristics. Additionally, these individuals should have a basic understanding of the cause and effect of common paint defects and the necessary adjustments for elimination of noted defects. These operators will be expected to maintain terminal equipment in good working order throughout the production cycle. Level 2 candidates will be expected to control wet/dry film coating thicknesses IAW noted prescribed requirements. These individuals should be qualified in associated support functions such as racking, turning and sanding operations as well as equipment maintenance and paint mixing operations. As a condition of assignment, level 2 Paint Operator candidates may be expected to process product controlled under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations and/or Export Administration Regulations. As such these candidates may be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship, Legal Permanent Residence or protected status as a Non-Citizen National of the U.S. Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $21 to $31.50 US Dollar (USD) Hourly based on a variety of factors. For informational purposes only, this role is eligible to participate in the Company's Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 1X the Company's bonus multiple, based on the Company's performance in the applicable quarter
