Patient Services Associate (100% Remote, 4-Months Contract) Start Date: October 2025 Duration: 4 months Location: Remote (AZ, CO, FL, GA, IN, KY, MI, MO, NC, OH, SC, WI) Pay Rate: $18.00/hr (up to $21.00/hr DOE) About the Role As a Patient Services Associate, you'll be the first point of contact for patients, providers and payers-handling benefits re-enrollment and verification, gathering missing intake details, and keeping our Lynk system up to date. You'll split your day between 25-50 inbound patient calls and strategic outbound outreach to insurers and providers. What You'll Do * Field and resolve 25-50 inbound calls per day related to re-enrollment and reverification * Make outbound calls to providers/payers to verify benefits and collect outstanding intake information * Document coverage details in a clear Summary of Benefits for patients and providers * Update case notes in the Lynk system to reflect status changes and actions taken * Balance a mix of patient-facing and provider-facing interactions Schedule & Training * Training: First 2 weeks, 8:30 AM-5:00 PM * Post-Training: Monday-Friday, choose between 8:00 AM-4:30 PM or 9:30 AM-6:00 PM * Full training duration: Approximately 6-8 weeks What You Bring Must-Have: * Familiarity with medical terminology and basic health insurance concepts * Previous call center or healthcare customer service experience * Empathy and professionalism when assisting patients Top Skills: * Customer service excellence * Health insurance verification * Call center operations * Medical terminology proficiency Additional Strengths: * High attention to detail and accuracy * Adaptability in a fast-paced, changing environment * Patient-centric mindset with kind, clear communication * Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel a plus) * Comfortable handling high call volumes or large-scale data Bonus: Bilingual in English and Spanish Experience Level: Intermediate Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
