Job Title: Bank Teller - Merchant Marine Academy, NY (MMA) Job Description Provide members and prospective members with a full range of financial products and services, including depository accounts, lending products, and credit/debit cards. Responsibilities * Assist members and prospective members with opening and managing checking, savings, certificate IRA, revocable trust, and estate accounts. * Offer and explain lending products and credit/debit cards to members. * Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently. * Provide exceptional customer service and address member inquiries and issues. * Perform administrative duties and data entry tasks. * Promote and sell banking products and services to meet member needs. Essential Skills * Strong customer service skills and orientation. * Proficiency in cash handling and account management. * Experience in sales and retail sales. * Excellent communication skills and confidence in engaging with members. Additional Skills & Qualifications * Prior experience in banking or financial services is beneficial. * Ability to think creatively and offer alternative solutions. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Work Environment This position is based on-site at the branch, where you will alternate between standing and sitting based on business and member foot traffic. The schedule is Monday through Saturday, with one day off during the week if working on Saturday. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kings Point, New York. #priorityeast25 Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
