For a limited time MaineHealth is offering a $3,000 sign on bonus for
Patient Service Specialists (PSSs):

  • Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full or Part time PSS position.
    Bonus amount prorated for Part time hires, per diem hires are ineligible.
  • Current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth Members are ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment.

Join our dedicated Cardiology team in Rockport as a Patient Service Specialist (PSS), where you'll play an essential role in supporting patients and providers throughout the care journey. Position Highlights:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for patients, providing professional and friendly assistance in person and over the phone.
  • Schedule appointments, verify insurance, and process referrals efficiently and accurately.
  • Maintain patient records and ensure a smooth flow of communication between clinical staff and patients.
  • Support the coordination of daily clinic operations to promote high-quality, patient-centered care.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  1. Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
  2. License/Certifications: N/A
  3. Experience: Six months of medical office experience required.
  4. Additional Skills/Requirements Required: N/A
  5. Additional Skills/Requirements Preferred: Proficient computer skills.
