Grid Systems Consultant - 1898 & Co.

The Grid Systems Consultant supports clients throughout their grid modernization journey-from strategy and requirements definition to system implementation and operational support. This role contributes to the design, build, testing, and deployment of advanced grid management solutions such as SCADA, OMS, ADMS, and DERMS. Responsibilities include conducting requirements analysis, developing project roadmaps, preparing technical documentation, and facilitating workshops and stakeholder engagements. The consultant also assists in system integration, commissioning, and troubleshooting to ensure reliable, optimized performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support implementation and integration of SCADA, OMS, ADMS, and DERMS technologies.
  
  
• Conduct business and technical requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation.
  
  
• Assist with project planning, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
  
  
• Prepare quality deliverables, reports, and client presentations aligned with project goals.
  
  
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely, high-quality project delivery.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  
  
• Minimum 8 years of Oracle Utilities NMS OMS experience.
  
  
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  
  
• Experience with electric utility systems and project methodologies (Waterfall/Agile) preferred.
  
  

Estimated Min Rate: $60.00
Estimated Max Rate: $86.50
