Description
Acara Solutions is seeking a Network Engineer to join our client on a 2- year contract opportunity with General Dynamics located in Scottsdale AZ
  • Pay rate: $68/hr.
  • Split per diem available if traveling to Scottsdale for the contract
Responsibilities
  • Maintain and support network topology using Linux IDM/Windows Servers (DNS, account management), Juniper Firewalls, Arista Switches, and NAS/SAN storage.
  • Ensure secure and efficient operation of high-speed enterprise networks.
  • Implement and support multicast, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), and VMware vSphere environments.
  • Perform vulnerability scanning, system hardening, and remediation.
  • Manage and support Red Hat Linux systems and virtualized environments.
  • Develop and maintain clear network and systems documentation.
Job Requirements
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Technology or Engineering.
  • 4+ yearsof experience in:
    • Enterprise network design/topology.
    • High-speed network design and implementation.
    • Multicast and routing protocols (BGP, OSPF).
    • Vulnerability scanning, hardening, and remediation.
    • VMware vSphere and virtual machines.
    • Red Hat Linux administration.

Additional Information:

  • Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
