PRIMARY FUNCTION: The Systems Analyst is responsible for designing, configuring, and optimizing compensation processes within Workday to support strategic HR initiatives. This role serves as a subject matter expert, translating business needs into system solutions, ensuring data integrity, and driving operational efficiency across compensation programs. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Translate compensation-related business needs into functional Workday requirements and system designs.
- Design and configure Workday solutions to support compensation programs such as merit increases, bonuses, and eligibility rules.
- Set up and maintain compensation plans, packages, and eligibility criteria within the system
- Serve as a Workday Compensation subject matter expert, advising on system capabilities and enhancements.
- Analyze system impacts, recommend solutions, and implement improvements based on new releases and business changes.
- Develop and execute test plans, including UAT, to validate configurations and ensure compliance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues related to compensation processes.
- Collaborate with Shared Services and cross-functional teams to share knowledge and drive process efficiency.
- Document requirements, technical specifications, and system processes.
- Monitor and report on issue resolution, enhancement progress, and project status.
- Maintain reference data, configure business processes, and generate reports as needed.
- Build strong, service-oriented relationships with internal stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and report any concerns promptly.
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Performs assigned work safely, adhering to established departmental safety rules and practices; reports to supervisor, in a timely manner, any unsafe activities, conditions, hazards, or safety violations that may cause injury to oneself, other employees, patients and visitors.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Applied Mathematics or equivalent field.
- Experience may be substituted for education.
- 2-3 Years in Workday Advanced Compensation configuration, calculated fields, complex reports and business process optimization experience
- Experience in managing project timelines, tasks and deliverables
- Experience working directly in or with the healthcare industry
- HCM configuration experience
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Workday Pro HCM Core Certification, Workday Pro Compensation Certification, Workday Pro Advanced Compensation Certification preferred
Annual Compensation Range $79,497.60 - $127,212.80
This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare's good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
