Access and Community Engagement: Access and Community Engagement collaborates both internally and with community partners to integrate access and belonging into the University's mission. Utilizing data-informed strategies, we advance educational access and belonging for all students, including those of non-traditional backgrounds such as first-generation college students, military and veteran students, students with disabilities and unique abilities, and students with limited resources. In addition, we facilitate faculty, staff, and student development by creating opportunities for open dialogue and free expression of all viewpoints, thereby fostering civil discourse and creating teaching and learning environments for everyone. The Opportunity: Are you passionate about educational opportunities and empowering first-generation college-bound students? Join UCF's TRiO Upward Bound team as a Manager of TRiO Programs, where you'll lead initiatives at Apopka High School and help shape the future of under-resourced youth. The Manager, TRiO Programs is responsible for all facets of the day-to-day administration of the program. In this highly student-facing role, you'll manage program operations, build relationships with school staff, oversee summer residential experiences, and ensure grant deliverables are met. We welcome candidates with backgrounds in academic advising, youth development, community outreach, or non-profit education programs, especially those with a heart for mission-driven work. This is a Contract and Grant (C&G) funded position. Employment is subject to availability of funding and may cease at the time funding for this employment is depleted. Responsibilities:
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree and 4+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219(6). Preferred Qualifications: We welcome candidates with any of the following experience:
