This Position reports to:

TMC Transport and Trade Specialist

Byhalia, MS - Onsite

Your role and responsibilities:

  • Shipping Coordination & Documentation:Oversee trailer assignments, track retail orders, and assist in scheduling loads; reprint packing lists and commercial invoices as needed.

  • Issue Resolution & Communication:Perform dock audits, investigate ESEDs, research overages/shortages/damages, and communicate split shipments and delays to customer service and relevant teams.

  • Process Monitoring & Optimization:Monitor shipping schedules, identify alternate shipping methods, and provide daily updates on truck departures to Coordinators.

  • Cross-Training & Support:Become proficient in inbound/outbound clerk duties and perform additional tasks as assigned by the Transportation Manager.

Qualifications:

  • Education & Experience:High school diploma or equivalent, with 1-2 years of experience in a transportation or logistics environment.

  • Technical Proficiency:Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office applications.

  • Communication & Customer Service:Excellent written and verbal communication skills; customer service-oriented with the ability to interact effectively across all levels of the organization.

  • Organizational Skills & Attention to Detail:Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced, multitasking environment.
