Description
We are seeking a dependable, organized individual with strong computer skills to join our Employee Health team. This role involves supporting daily office operations, assisting with administrative tasks, drug and alcohol screen collections, and supporting the Emergency Response Team while also being comfortable working in both an office and plant environment. This position is part-time, 12-15 hours a week.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS * Manage employee health files * Assist with employee orientations * Schedule hearing testing * Drug and alcohol screen collections (training required/provided) * Ordering/filing medical and safety supplies * Support the Emergency Response Team with any CPR or first aid needs * Conduct checks on and maintain first aid kits and AEDs throughout the plant * Communicate effectively with employees and vendors POSITION QUALIFICATIONS * Proficient in navigating Microsoft Office Suite * Strong computer skills * Have the ability to communicate with all plant and office staff, to work independent of supervision, and speak in front of various sized groups. * Open to learning new things with a proper attitude to accept new tasks and problem solve as needed * Comfortable working in an office and manufacturing environment that requires PPE to be worn. * Ability to maintain full confidentiality of employee records and comply with all HIPPA standards SKILLS & ABILITIES Education: * Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent Computer Skills: * Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products Certificates & Licenses: * Willing to be certified in CPR/First Aid/AED - company provided * Willing to be certified in administering drug and alcohol screening collection COMPANY OVERVIEW Started in 1933, Green Bay Packaging Inc. is a family-owned, vertically integrated company consisting of corrugated container plants, a folding carton facility, recycled and virgin containerboard mills, pressure-sensitive label roll stock plants, timberlands, a paper slitting operation, and a sawmill facility.
