A Day in the Life of an RN - Oncology Operations Coordinator

Job Overview: The Oncology Operations Coordinator, a skilled RN, plays a crucial role in coordinating comprehensive care for cancer patients from diagnosis through treatment and into survivorship or end-of-life stages. This position is pivotal in maintaining the cancer program's accreditation by adhering to established healthcare standards, leading quality initiatives, and ensuring compliance with accreditation benchmarks. Collaborating closely with medical providers and the oncology department, the coordinator implements quality improvements and monitors patient care metrics.
