Learn more about ENSCO. Position Description ENSCO Inc is seeking a Junior Software Developer Intern to support the production of high-performance computing models, tools, scripts and packages. This position will contribute to the design, development, implementation, maintenance, and operation of a suite of environmental models for government use. Qualifications Required: Experience in programming languages such as C/C++, Python, and JavaScript with the ability to write efficient, reliable, and maintainable code. Experience with creating GUI and API applications. Excellent interpersonal skills including working in team environment. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong work ethic and attention to detail. Minimum of 2 years undergraduate education or related experience in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field. Qualifications Desired: Experience or willingness to learn DevOps practices, including version control, continuous integration, and automated testing tools. Experience or willingness to learn Fortran with high-performance computing and parallel processing with MPI.
