Job Description

Role Overview: Unpack Your Potential
Join Amcor as a Liquid Dock Handler. This role owns the liquid waste handling process-from ordering materials to shipping waste. You'll manage all liquid shipping/receiving, order supplies for the ink department, and handle hazardous waste, including inspecting drums to meet DOT standards.

Schedule:
Shift: 1st Monday- Friday (Flex coverage on weekends)

Job Description: Possibility Unpacked
What you'll do:

  • Order and manage ink, adhesives, and related materials

  • Ship hazardous waste and empty drums; ensure all drums meet DOT and vendor standards

  • Schedule shipments and coordinate material transfers

  • Label and prepare hazardous waste drums; verify contents and compliance

  • Maintain and organize the liquid dock and ink warehouse

  • Perform inventory cycle counts and correct COGI errors

  • Move materials using forklift or pallet jack

  • Conduct daily audits and resolve non-conformities

  • Lead toolbox talks or training on liquid handling

  • Sign shipping manifests and bills of lading

  • Support press operations and complete other duties as assigned

What we want from you: Lead the Pack
Preferred qualifications:

  • Basic understanding of adhesive and ink blending

  • Attention to detail

  • Forklift experience

  • DOT training or the ability to obtain training within a week - EHSM will assist if needed

  • SAP experience

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand for 12-hour shifts

  • Stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.

  • Perform tasks in a fast-paced production environment
