Requisition ID# 167863 Job Category: Information Technology Job Level: Supervisor Business Unit: Operations - Other Work Type: Hybrid Job Location: Oakland Position Summary The Supervisor of IT Business Technology plays a critical role in delivering a unified vision for data governance, data quality, records management across Vegetation Management. This individual ensures that vegetation data and records are traceable, verifiable, accurate, and complete to support sound decision-making and meeting regulatory oversight requirements. The Supervisor will direct teams responsible for solution and portfolio strategy and planning, business architecture, requirements definition, program and project delivery and deployment, application development, testing and quality assurance, and operations and maintenance support. The supervisor will also build strong relationships within Vegetation Management and collaborate across various lines of business and with external partners to align and deliver jointly owned goals. This role is responsible for developing the technology, processes, people, and documentation needed to fulfill regulatory commitments and advance data maturity and delivery of PG&E system applications. Beyond execution, the Supervisor will help shape the strategic direction of how data is governed, used, and trusted across PG&E. They will lead initiatives that foster a culture of data ownership and enable consistent, insight-driven operations. These initiatives will require cross-functional coordination and a strong commitment to data integrity and regulatory excellence. This position is hybrid. You will work from your remote office and your assigned location based on business needs. The headquarters location is in Oakland, CA. Salary Range PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, particular skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, collective bargaining agreements, and internal equity. Although we estimate that the successful candidate hired into this role will be placed towards the middle or entry point of the range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis, taking into account these factors.
