Cisco Workspace for Government (W4G) is a Cisco initiative to provide Cisco software products to our most sensitive US Government customers. It is a groundbreaking new approach to providing software products in an easily consumable platform. Cisco W4G Team helps drive consumption and adoption of software services in the US Federal Government space.


Your Impact

The Cisco W4G Team seeks an outstanding Sales Operation Manager to lead multi-functional programs supporting customers and Federal account teams by managing the W4G application and Cisco sales operations. A unique blend of technical expertise, eye for business, and strong communication and problem-solving skills to balance business needs, operational processes, and customer mission requirements. Drives efficiencies, supports sales initiatives, manages multiple customer engagements, resolves technical and operational issues, and ensures seamless collaboration between internal teams and external partners. Contribute to continuous process improvement and documentation updates to meet evolving standards, while encouraging positive relationships and maintaining a high degree of flexibility!


  • Serve as the frontline for resolving technical issues related to W4G leading customer Smart Accounts including user management, software licensing, and hardware products.
  • Assist in gathering customer product and application requirements, develop quotes in Cisco Commerce Workspace (CCW), track order fulfillment, and collaborate closely with Cisco Federal Account Teams and third-party partners to ensure customer mission requirements are met.
  • Manage multiple customer engagements and ad hoc projects simultaneously with high quality and responsiveness, identifying, escalating, and driving resolution of technical and operational issues.
  • Contribute to the W4G development lifecycle through process development, documentation, and sharing expertise, maintaining and updating operational documentation to reflect evolving processes and standards.
  • Acquire and maintain a Secret security clearance and manage technical points of contact in customer accounts.
  • Demonstrate strong relationship-building, communication, and teamwork skills, with the ability to engage across all management levels and foster multi-functional relationships.
  • Exhibit high organization, reliability, and decision-making ability, with experience leading and delivering multi-functional programs from conception through integration and support.
  • Adapt effectively to a dynamic, evolving environment with a strong end-to-end user perspective focused on delivering complete solutions, supported by solid experience in program execution, operations, and understanding of the software development lifecycle.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience working with Cisco Licensing across Network, Collaboration, Security, and Datacenter technologies.
  • A solid understanding of Cisco Smart Software Manager (CSSM), various Licensing Models, and the organizational structure of Smart Accounts and Virtual Accounts.
  • Cisco CCW Experience: Experience using Cisco CCW to create estimates.
  • Demonstrable ability to effectively collaborate with partners, including experience managing and resolving at least 10 stakeholder-related issues or projects.
  • 5+ years of demonstrated ability working with Cisco devices in an enterprise environment.
  • Education/ BA or BS In computer science, engineering or related field.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of Cisco's Architectures and products at a high level to support licensing is highly preferred
  • Active Top Secret Clearance TS/SCI required
  • High degree of flexibility and ability to work effectively within a dynamic, constantly evolving environment
  • Demonstrable ability to understand, resolve, and communicate sophisticated technical and business issues
  • Maintain and continuously update operational documentation to reflect evolving processes and standards
  • Cisco CSAP Graduate or completion of a similar structured technical and business development program is a plus
