We are looking for a Senior Recruiter in 401 N Michigan Ave, Suite 1400, Chicago, IL 60611 USA. Your mission will be to:
Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Manager, the Senior Recruiter plays a critical role in executing strategic sourcing and recruiting initiatives to attract top talent across the organization. This role serves as a subject matter expert in recruitment best practices, proactively partnering with hiring managers, HR Business Partners, and other stakeholders to ensure effective, timely, and compliant hiring processes. The Senior Recruiter will lead complex or high-impact searches, provide informal guidance to other recruiters, and help drive continuous improvement in talent acquisition strategies. The Senior Recruiter will provide a full suite of recruiting services for our scientific laboratories in the US and Canada from sourcing to delivery of diverse candidates.
YOUR PROFILE
Qualifications Required
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent experience preferred.
7+ years of progressive recruiting experience, including full-cycle recruiting and strategic sourcing.
Extensive experience leading complex, high-impact searches across multiple business verticals in both USA and Canada.
Strong expertise in executive search, strategic sourcing, and advising hiring managers.
Proven ability to manage multiple requisitions and deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
Advanced knowledge of job markets and ability to provide reporting, market trends, and guidance to the business.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to influence and build strong relationships.
Strong project management and organizational skills.
Proficiency with ATS platforms, Microsoft Office Suite, and Google Workspace.
Demonstrated ability to think strategically and drive process improvements.
Experience leading employer branding and talent market mapping initiatives.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Lead full-cycle recruitment for senior, specialized, and high-volume roles, managing multiple requisitions in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
Build strong, consultative partnerships with hiring managers and HR teams to understand business needs and develop effective, diverse sourcing strategies.
Develop and maintain diverse candidate pipelines using creative sourcing techniques, networks, and proactive talent mapping.
Advise, coach, and train hiring managers on best practices for interviewing, selection, and offer processes to ensure consistent, compliant hiring decisions.
Serve as a subject matter expert on employment and recruiting practices, the applicant tracking system (ATS), and talent acquisition metrics.
Ensure accurate data management and timely reporting of recruiting activity.
Analyze recruiting metrics and share insights with TA leadership, continuously identifying opportunities to improve processes and results.
Represent the company at career fairs, networking events, and industry gatherings to strengthen employer brand and attract top talent.
Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws, company policies, and code of conduct standards.
Remain highly organized, results-oriented, and hands-on, balancing multiple tasks independently and solving problems proactively while thriving in a dynamic environment
Leads complex or high-impact searches across multiple business verticals.
In addition to full-cycle recruiting, plays a strategic advisory role to hiring managers.
Provides informal coaching, training, and process improvement support to the recruiting team.
Other related duties as assigned.

Communication

Physical Demands and Work Environment

Travel
Moderate travel is required for recruitment events, training sessions, and company meetings.
Travel is typically 15-25% of the time, including both domestic and occasional international trips.
Compensation Package Overview:
Compensation Range $80,000 - $90,000 annual salary USD
