About the Role

thyssenkrupp is seeking a detail-oriented and team-focused Branch Coordinator to support our warehouse operations. This role is essential to ensuring smooth communication between departments and accurate logistics execution. You'll work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment where safety and efficiency are top priorities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a liaison between Sales, Purchasing, and Warehouse teams
  • Schedule transportation and communicate with drivers
  • Edit truck load data in the system for accuracy and timely delivery
  • Deliver work orders and draft job-related communications
  • Create ad hoc reports and manage high-volume communications
  • Understand and support the work order process
  • Participate in Health, Safety, Quality, and Lean initiatives
  • Work directly on the warehouse floor around heavy machinery
  • Support operations with additional duties as needed
What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is:
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Team-focused but confident working independently
  • Tech-savvy with strong computer skills
  • Safety-minded and committed to workplace safety

1. Communication between the sales team and the production team:
  • Scheduling in Smart Sheets (SH) all assigned orders or at least 10 days out
  • Scheduling on Machine Cell Boards daily (weekly - trays)
  • Scheduling next week's orders in the supervisor's office (5-10 days - mailbox)
  • Keeping track of orders being processed throughout the day and update SH
  • Communicating with the sales team of potential/late orders
  • Work with sales team to negotiate pulling in hot orders
2. Scrap process:
  • Scrap database - tag and packing list creation
  • Scrap P/N - toll P/N transfers
  • Keep EOM scrap levels under 25K
  • Monthly adjustments as needed using scrap parts reconciliation sheet (floor/SAP).
3. Assigning orders through Coil Trim, including sub contract 4. Confirming packaged orders in SAP 5. Assist new employees with computer access including getting into Success Factors 6. Retrieve mail, code invoices in preparation for signature, scan to A/P 7. Arrange luncheons for employees for various gatherings Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of planner/scheduler experience in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Strong working knowledge of MASS and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to stand, bend, stoop, climb, reach, and lift up to 40 lbs
  • Basic math and English literacy
  • Basic computer knowledge for data entry

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1 year of customer service experience
  • Working toward or completion of a 2-year degree
