Buckeye Partners is currently seeking an IT Lead, Cybersecurity with 15+ Years of experience to join our team!

Role Summary:

The IT Lead, Cybersecurity role will be a technical lead for the Cybersecurity team managing and maintaining a large security estate for Buckeye Partners. The role will be responsible to ensure smooth operations and reliability of security services in a 24 x 7 operating model. This role requires strategic thinking about security maturity, standard operating models, and support for the demanding enterprise.

Responsibilities & Essential Functions include:




  • Project Implementation. Lead in the implementation of various projects related to Buckeye's applications. Review and manage end-user requirements related to the new applications and provide design documents for the changes.
  • Project Management. Manage Medium Complexity Projects to adhere to the defined Frameworks and Project Management Policies
  • Financial Management. Manage Financials to defined budgetary boundaries.
  • System Maintenance. Lead the maintenance of various systems and technologies. Respond to reported application issues.
  • Managed Services Oversight. Assist in Managing Third-Party resources to ensure alignment with contracted services.
  • Application Administration. Lead system administrators in the setup of assigned applications and administering systems interfaces.
  • Internal Support. Lead the enhancement of the various IT systems with lifecycle management of assigned and dependent applications.
  • Documentation. Review and manage documentation for all supported applications and ensure documentation is current. Documentation may include IT PMO, Disaster Recovery, Interconnection, etc.
  • Testing. Review and Manage testing of multiple system upgrades before releasing them to the Buckeye Business and provide recommendations for application system upgrades and enhancements.
  • On-Call Support. Provide on-call support during non-business hours to Operations on an as-needed basis.
  • Customer Service. Provide exceptional customer service.
  • Process Improvements. Considered as the SME when identifying potential opportunities to increase efficiencies and/or improvements to existing processes. Lead identifying gaps in the current business model and propose processes that will help move the business forward.
  • People Management. If Direct Reports exist, Performance Planning for Direct Reports. Manages Leads and Analysts to assure their teams successfully manage roadmaps, budgets, and forecasts for assigned applications and system environments for appropriate business segments. Works with direct reports on mentoring soft, strategic, and technical skills. Provide technical knowledge to co-workers for problem solving.
  • Infrastructure & Cloud Systems Management. Enterprise level security infrastructure & cloud services management
  • Technical Leadership. Lead Technical professionals ensuring a growth model and standard operating model for supporting the organization 24 x 7
  • Enterprise Architecture. Support the Enterprise Architecture Framework: Assist in the Alignment to the enterprise architecture framework. Create architectural models, diagrams, and documentation, as it pertains to IT Security as necessary.
  • Other duties as assigned.



      Position Requirements:




      • Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science or business preferred or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
      • 10+ Years of Combined IT, OT, and Cybersecurity Experience in various domains experience.
      • Certifications: CISSP is preferred
      • Has demonstrated leadership qualities such as communicates clearly to senior leaders, influences team members, acts as a mentor to others on the team, and is respected by peers.
      • Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.
      • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
      • Familiarity with and functional capabilities with Microsoft Office & M365 Services
      • Ability to travel up to 15% domestically and internationally

          Essential Functions:




          • This position requires the ability to safely and successfully perform essential job functions consistent with ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and or/quantitative productivity standards.
          • This role requires the ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards.
          • This position requires compliance with all personnel policies.



          Physical & Safety Requirements:




          • The person in this position needs to occasionally move inside the office to access file cabinets, office equipment, etc.
          • This role continuously operates a computer and other office productivity equipment (i.e. a calculator, copy machine and computer printer).
